Day 1: Azrou to Imouzzer

Setting off from our base in Azrou, we head north into the heart of the Middle Atlas. The morning is spent under the canopy of the Forêt de Cedres, where the tracks are a mix of soft loam and firm gravel. We navigate the flowing trails toward Imouzzer Kandar, characterized by its fruit orchards and limestone ridges. The afternoon features faster, open tracks across the high plateaus before looping back to Azrou for the evening.

Total distance: 190 kms

Day 2: The Lakes & Jbel Hebri
Day 03

Day 2: The Lakes & Jbel Hebri

Today’s ride takes us east into a dramatic volcanic landscape. We navigate toward Jbel Hebri, an extinct cinder cone that offers technical climbs and panoramic views of the region. From here, we explore a series of natural mountain lakes (Dayets), including Dayet Aoua and Dayet Ifrah. The terrain is a mix of volcanic ash tracks and fast, sweeping pistes across the plains.

Total distance: 210 kms

Day 3: Forêt de Jaba & The High Plateaus
Day 04

Day 3: Forêt de Jaba & The High Plateaus

A day focused on the incredible biodiversity of the region. We head into the Forêt de Jaba, a protected area where the riding is tight, technical, and immensely rewarding. We share the trails with local shepherds and the famous Barbary macaques. After a picnic lunch in the woods, we climb to the higher plateaus where the air is crisp and the vistas stretch toward the High Atlas peaks in the south.

Total distance: 185 kms

Day 4: Azrou to Sources Oum er-Rbia
Day 05

Day 4: Azrou to Sources Oum er-Rbia

We head southwest today toward one of the most scenic spots in Morocco. The tracks become more rugged as we approach the Cascades and Sources of Oum er-Rbia. We ride through red-rock canyons and past 40 different springs—both salty and sweet—that feed Morocco’s largest river. The return leg features some challenging rocky sections that will test your technical skills and stamina.

Total distance: 230 kms

Day 5: Azrou to Kerouchen
Day 06

Day 5: Azrou to Kerouchen

Our final day takes us to the southernmost point of the tour. The trails toward Kerouchen are remote and less traveled, offering a true "wilderness" feel. We traverse deep cedar valleys and climb over high mountain passes with spectacular drop-offs. We finish the tour with a choice: a fast-paced blast back to Azrou for a well-earned drink at the hotel, or an extra technical forest loop for those looking to maximize their time in the saddle.
