5 days of riding starting from Marrakech and finishing in Ouarzazate. Two full days of coastal riding with some faster deserty sections and Anti-Atlas Mountains
Day by Day
The Itinerary.

Day 1: Marrakech to Essaouira
20 minutes northwest of Marrakech, the rolling hills, flat plains and the gentle curves make a perfect start to the tour, allowing you to get accustomed to your bike. As the afternoon progresses, the pistes will become increasingly more scenic. The rolling hills, combined with a rocky, technical section make for an exciting ride. The day reaches its climax as we cut through a beautiful, mature forest to the northeast of Essaouira.
Total distance: 220 kms

Day 2: Essaouira to Imsouane
A morning of pure beach riding on the deserted beaches of Essouira. Occasional cliff top tracts to connect the beaches are challenging and hugely enjoyable. Fuel and coffee stop mid-morning is followed by another beach and some small dunes. Lunch at Sidi Kaouki is followed by a pleasant afternoon on faster trails that take us through the Argan Forests south of Agadir bringing us to our evening accommodation in Imsouane.
Total distance: 150- 180 kms

Day 3: Imsouane to Massa
A unique coastal footpath takes us round a peninsular that is shared with grazing goats and camels. We keep as close as possible to the beach all the way down to Agadir where we stop at the fishing port for lunch. Escaping Agadir we head straight into the eucalyptus forest near Ait Melloul. Some highly enjoyable sand tracks in this forest lead us eventually to the coast again which we follow south as far as Massa where we spend our final night on the coast.
Total distance: 180 kms

Day 4: Massa to Taliouine
We start our longest day of riding heading across the farming plains of the Souss Valley on sandy tracks. A good level of strength and stamina is needed for this section. A mountainous section in the afternoon brings us to the town of Taliouine, centre of saffron production in Morocco.
Total distance: 280 kms

Day 5: Taliouine to Ouarzazate
Remote mountain tracks in the Jbel Siroua, lunch in Tazanakht for our final tagine lunch. Option of quick route back to Ouarazazate for those wanting the pool and the bar. Alternatively we can finish the tour with some more technical riding for those who haven’t yet used up all their stamina.
